Not many people with concrete driveways, especially new concrete driveways, realize that a concrete driveway is a luxurious finish to your exterior. It is important to maintain the surface with one of the top products for concrete surfaces. New driveways require a sealant on the surface usually the first six months of the driveway being poured. After the first sealing, driveways should be sealed every three years afterwards. 

Sealant provides a barrier that does not allow water to penetrate into the surface. This is most important during the winter months when water does penetrate into the surface and freezing weather overnight causes moisture to expand and thus many times can cause the concrete to crack.
